This week for me has been my real first week of summer. I don't get a summer holiday anymore because I don't go to school/uni etc, but I do have a lot of time off because I only work two days a week. (I'm not a bum, I swear! lol) This week though, my friends had their last exams so I was able to do things with them as opposed to on my own. So as a kind of first week of summer, I am happy with the way it's going so far. I've been up to a lot of fun things which I'm so glad I got to do and I love creating new memories (as cheesy as that is) so here is what I have been up to!.

Tuesday I went to see Jimmy Carr's show 'Funny Business' which obviously was absolutely hilarious. Most people find him a little crude, but as a girl who's grown up in a house full of men, I'm used to all that stuff! Although, it was a little awkward when he got onto all the dirtier topics as I was sitting between my older brothers! He's very quick with his comebacks which I put down to his many years of experience, and he is very interactive with the crowd which makes it a lot more personal and intimate. So I give Jimmy a 10/10!
Wednesday I went to see George Ezra in Camden (which I made a short little post about) and he was without a doubt one of the best live performers I've seen. I went with my best friend, Sophie, and we spent the afternoon in Camden Market, which is always nice. Camden Market is a very picturesque place. All you see is people taking photographs, especially by the river. It was also a very sunny day which added to the beauty of it.
Thursday was spent with my friends. This was the day they had their last exam so we all went out to celebrate, needless to say my feet were killing me by the end of the night. It was so nice to just go out and have some fun and let my hair down.
Saturday was Sophie's 19th birthday so we went into town for some more civilised drinks and more celebrations. Happy birthday for yesterday, Sophie and Abi!
So yup, that's my first diary style entry for the first week of summer. Off to see The Fault In Our Stars today. Definitely wearing my waterproof mascara. Hopefully summer will continue this way and I'll have done a lot more by the end!
