Holi Festival of Colour
On Saturday I attended Holi Festival in London, alongside about 25,000 other people all ready to be covered in powder paint. Despite the brief down pour of rain, the day was so much fun, and something completely unique. I'm so happy I got the opportunity to go and it will be a memory I'll always remember.
I don't remember how many DJ's there were, but they were all very enthusiastic and played a variety of music which catered to the large amount of people in the park. My favourite was definitely the Radio 1 DJ, Zane Lowe.
If you don't know what on Earth the Holi Festival is, to sum it up, its a massive party and every hour there is a countdown, and when you hit #1 you throw up multi-coloured powder which creates an amazing sea of colour. It originated in India but it has grown much bigger and is now celebrated in a lot of different countries.
