Mask of Magnaminty
My lovely bestie bought me a Lush gift card for my birthday, and so I decided it was time to step away from the bath bombs and bubble bars and try something new. I opted for a face mask, Mask of Magnaminty. Initially it was the peppermint that drew me to it because that is one of my favourite skin care scents (I was about to say 'flavours', but that would have been so wrong).
The first time I tried it, it felt so fresh on my face. It felt like I had just brushed my teeth, but on my face - does that make sense? No? Oh. Well, it felt like my skin had been thoroughly cleaned. It left my face feeling smooth, clean and oil free. I don't have particularly oily skin, but whenever I use a face mask it seems to always bring out the oils afterward, which I don't think it supposed to happen. But this one didn't, I guess that's because of the natural ingredients that Lush uses. It seemed to really exfoliate my skin which I have been struggling to find a good product to do, and my enlarged pores were unclogged - also something I have been looking for help for.
The second time I used it I was more impressed. The pot claims to reduce the skin outbreaks and redness and it really did. For once the blemishes I get around my nose seemed to clear up, and my skin tone looked a lot more balanced. The third time, I used it on my body. I sometimes get outbreaks around my neck and so I decided to give it a go. Again, it left my skin feeling clean, smooth and fresh, and it really has helped me with breakouts.
