Crossing Bridges

To me, I always find it a bit silly for people to always worry so much about consequences. The way I see it is that once you do something or make a decision, it can never be regretted because a) it works out and you live happily ever after or b) it doesn't work out and you learn from it, then figure out your way from there.
I always say that "I'll cross that bridge when I come to it" and I really mean it. I want to live for now, I don't want to let the worries of tomorrow effect the beauty of today, for you are always going to regret the things you didn't do rather than the things you do.
The biggest example I can think of is getting a tattoo. As long as you're sure its what you want to get, then you go ahead and do it. Don't worry about whether you'll like it at age 90 because I guarantee there'll be more important things to worry about then. Everyone says "you'll regret that when you're old" but what if you don't? What if you absolutely adore it when you're old, just as much as you adored it when you got it? Why would you sacrifice today's happiness for the fear that you may not like it in a few years?
If it is what you want, then just do it.
