Artist Addiction #3 - George Ezra

About a month or two ago, my best friend introduced me to the name George Ezra. She had seem him supporting Tom O'dell and she enjoyed it, and told me all about him. I gave him a search on youtube, needless to say, and it was like listening to perfection. I think one of the comments on was 'he sounds like a compressed Kings of Leon' and that couldn't be more of a perfect description.

He has been named as one of MTVs 'Brand New for 2014' and Vevo's 'DSCVR Ones to Watch 2014', and I truly believe that in a matter of months everyone is going to know his name. His voice is so unique, 'a voice beyond his years' - literally like nothing I have ever heard before. His music is fun and different, and I for one am loving his EP Did You Hear the Rain. (He's releasing a new EP soon, yay!)

He recently took to Fearne Cotton's BBC Radio 1 Live lounge where he beautifully covered One Republic's Counting Stars, and performed his own song Budapest. A look on the twitter hashtag #r1livelounge and not a single negative comment was made, which proves just how great and talented he is. Being only 20 years old, he is definitely a star.

So GO AND LISTEN TO HIM.
xx
