FEBRUARY FAVOURITES 2014
This month I've been loving a lot of new (and old) things, so I'm going to get straight into it.
Number one, is my Real Techniques expert face brush and I'm sure absolutely everyone in the world and their mothers have used this brush, but I never really used to like applying my make-up with brushes so I never gave it a chance. But I had noticed how I couldn't apply it right with just using my hands so I gave it a go and I absolutely love it. I never don't use it now.
Second, is a new concealer I was trying out, and that's the Bobbi Brown concealer kit. There's two sides, the actual concealer and then some powder, and I love that it provides you with the powder to stop the shine from the creamy consistency. I don't reaaaally know what else to say, other than I love it!
Next is a book, and it's something I came across very randomly, and I'd never heard of it, but apparently it is a No.1 Bestseller. It's called The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch and it is about his life and how he was given the opportunity to give an important lecture to students at the college he is a professor at, and sadly he gets diagnosed with a terminal illness meaning he has limited time left, so he decides to put everything he has into giving the lecture and perfecting it to make that his legacy. I haven't finished the book yet, but it is very uplifting and someone told me it changed their life, so if you fancy a life changing read - go ahead and get this book.
I've been loving a new TV show, too. My Mad Fat Diary is a sitcom about a teenage girl and her life, set in the 90's, as she goes through everyday recovering from a mental illness. As depressing as that sounds, it is a comedy, and as a teenager myself I find myself relating a lot. Also, there are some very attractive characters which is always a bonus. I love that it is set in a different decade, where none of them had mobile phones or computers so they have every conversation face to face and they all hang out at the pub despite being underage, and the music - don't even get me started.
This leads me on to my musical faves this month, and there's a few, so I'm just going to list them.
Family Tree - Kings Of Leon
Temple - Kings Of Leon
Faces - The Ratells
Held In The Arms Of Your Words - Tired Pony
Dream On - Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds
Let Go For Tonight - Foxes
City Of Angels - Thirty Seconds To Mars
She Looks So Perfect - 5 Seconds Of Summer
Graveyard Whistling - Nothing But Thieves
