The Christmas Tag

1. What is your favorite Christmas film?

SO MANY! I always adored The Santa Clause growing up, for me its a classic. But I also love Elf (who doesn't?) Love Actually and Home Alone. Keep the change ya filthy animal ;)

2. Have you ever had a White Christmas?

I don't think so. At least not the picturesque one, maybe a slushy one.

3. Where do you usually spend your holiday?

Its always different, but we spend a lot of time at my Auntie's house with all the family.

4. What is your favorite Christmas song?

HAVE A HOLLY JOLLY CHRISTMAS ITS THE BEST TIME OF THE YEAR by Michael Buble obviouslyyyyyyyy 

5. Do you open any presents on Christmas Eve?

NO! Why would you do that?!

6. Can you name all of Santa’s reindeer?

Rudoloph, Dasher, Dancer, Donner, Cupid, Prancer, Vixen, Blitzen, Comet! I didn't even cheat!!!

7. What holiday traditions are you looking forward to most this year?

Definitely ham & egg for breakfast, and my whole family play silly games like chirades. 

8. Is your Christmas tree real or fake?

Fake - blame my father, he doesn't like the fact that the needles fall off. Anyway, this means that I don't have to feel guilty about chopping down a tree to hang baubles on it.

9. What is your all-time favorite holiday food/sweet treat?

TURKEY

10. Be honest: do you like giving gifts or receiving gifts better?

Honestly, giving. Knowing that you have put that smile on someone's face is the best gift I can give to myself. (and this is the moment we all cringe)

11. What is the best Christmas gift you’ve ever received?

I don't think I have ever not liked a gift that I have received, and I don't have a favourite. I am grateful for all my gifts. 

12. What would be your dream place to visit for the holiday season?

As cliche as this is, New York. I think my obsession with Gossip Girl has definitely influenced this, but can you just imagine it!

13. Are you a pro-present wrapper, or do you fail miserably?

I am definitely a pro. Ribbon, tags, the whole sha-bang. 

14. Most memorable Holiday moment?

One Christmas sticks out. I have two older brothers, and the youngest of them wished for a bike all year. As the eldest opened a pair of football shaped slippers, the younger acted extremely jealous of them, telling him they were amazing. Next, he opened the exact same pair of football slippers, the excitement drained from his face as he threw them across the room and shouted "I hate Father Christmas! I asked for a bike!" Spoilt little git. 

15. What made you realize the truth about Santa?

I'm not sure the exact moment that I began to have doubts, but I do remember being suspicious. One Christmas Eve night I snuck downstairs and saw my Mum placing all of the presents from 'Santa' underneath the tree. I remember thinking "I knew it!" and disappoint overcame me as I slumped back up the stairs into bed.

16. Do you make New Years resolutions? Do you stick to them?

I'd LOVE to say yes, but I never do. Maybe for about a month and then I forget and wait until next year ;).
