February Favourites

During the month of February there have been a few things I've been loving, so I thought I would share them!
The first is one that I have used on and off since I was about thirteen, and it is the Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic. I've recently started using again and I forgot how much I love this product. As weird as this may sound, I love the smell of it and so whenever I use it I just feel the need to sniff at it lol - I promise I'm not weird. I use it straight after the Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser and I love the combination. As the cleanser is used with a hot cloth, it opens up the pores and the toner gets rid of all the dirt in my face and closes back up the pores. Afterwards I use the Liz Earle Skin Repair Light Moisturiser and then my skin feels incredibly soft. Overall I just really love this and recommend it!

The next favourite are these earrings from Topshop which I have been wearing pretty much everyday. I feel a little late on the whole cross trend but oh well, I love these. I love the edgy feel of the shiny gold which contrasts to the matte black and they're not too big and not too small which is perfect if you want something more subtle. I have yet to find an outfit of mine which I can't wear them with so I am very pleased with these.

 

As we're slowly entering spring, I decided to get myself together with the pastel nail polishes, starting with Peach Melba by Barry M. I have to say, this is one of my favourite nail polishes I own and I haven't even had it a month. I really like the nearly-nude colour and feel like it makes my skin look a little more tanned, which really helps with my pale skin! It is quite sheer so I use two coats of it and it looks gorgeous on.

 

Lastly is something that I was very kindly gifted and that is my goooooorgeous pair of CATS (Caterpillar boots). I've been searching for a pair of boots like this for a while and I cannot explain how happy I am with these. Usually CATS are quite heavy with steel toes because they are working boots but these really aren't heavy at all. The sole is very sturdy and thick which I love, and the heel gives me some height - although not a lot - which again really helps me haha. My favourite thing is the fur around the top which is really soft and keeps my legs nice and warm. I love that the laces tie up at the back of the shoe, becuase then you don't have them in the way and I find it a lot easier to tie up at the back. I'm a little sad that I didn't have these before winter, but nevertheless I am extremely grateful to have been given them. Probably my favourite pair of shoes right now.
